    Medical Visa Extension

Sometimes patients may not get a fit-to-fly certificate from the treating doctor if they need more time for their recovery. When a patient is required to stay in India beyond the departure date, he can extend his Visa from Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The patient needs an official letter from the doctor stating why he can’t travel back to his own country. The patients are advised to present this letter and some required documents to the FRRO office to get a visa extension.

Documents required for Medical Visa Extension

One copy of your application form

Four fresh photographs of the applicant.

Photocopy of your initial Visa and your passport

Residence/Hotel details in which you are staying

Details of FRRO offices in India

All medical tourists and attendants must register in the Foreign Regional Registration Office once they arrive in India. We will take care of all your issues regarding FRRO registration. For details about official Addresses, Telephone, etc., you are requested to Contact Us.
