Medical Visa Extension
Sometimes patients may not get a fit-to-fly certificate from the treating doctor if they need more time for their recovery. When a patient is required to stay in India beyond the departure date, he can extend his Visa from Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The patient needs an official letter from the doctor stating why he can’t travel back to his own country. The patients are advised to present this letter and some required documents to the FRRO office to get a visa extension.
